About the Show
The Almighty Johnsons is a New Zealand comedy-fantasy-drama series created by James Griffin and Rachel Lang (South-Pacific Pictures.)
It is a brand new series, where the five Johnson brothers are reincarnated as Norse gods. They don't have full control of their powers yet, but they do have them. It is up to Axl (the reincarnation of Odin) to restore them and ensure everyone survives by finding Odin's wife, Frigg - another reincarnation. The problem is, there are other Norse gods, in this case goddesses, who are trying to stop the Johnsons from finding Frigg to prevent the restoration of their powers.
The main character of the show is Axl Johnson who is raised by Mike (the oldest brother) after their father died and their mother left them.
