News Monday, February 20 by Captain

So hands up who spent Sunday glued to the box reliving the Fae fun in Sci Fi’s Lost Girl Season 1 Marathon?
I’d actually forgotten how AWESOME the series is.
There’s something so genuinely subversive about Lost Girl that I can’t help but get into it. I admit, I hunkered down on Sunday, clutching my Star Trek plush Spock doll, cans of Coke Zero lined up for the caffeine ride, blinds pulled down to block out the one day of sunshine this summer has brought us, and geeked out to Bo, Kenzi and the gang.
I’m now just as psyched as everyone else about the Season 2 premiere on Sci Fi this Thursday February 23rd at 9:30pm.

The Lost Girl cast relaxing on the set.
Lost Girl is one of Sci Fi’s most popular series. In recognition of this, the show’s star, Anna Silk, on behalf of the cast and creators of the show, wanted us to pass on this personal message to you, the loyal fans.
If you’re a Sci Fi Guy (I’m using the term gender neutrally now, because Sci Fi Person doesn’t rhyme, you see?) and you’re unaware of the magic that is Lost Girl, then you’re one of the very, very few.

What’s in the box?
The show follows supernatural seductress Bo (Anna Silk), a Succubus who feeds on the sexual energy (sometimes called “Chi”) of humans. She is one of the Fae, creatures of legend and folklore, who pass as humans while feeding off them secretly, as they have for millennia.
Bo is caught between the Dark and Light Fae clans. But instead of picking a side, she decides to take the middle path between the humans and the Fae while embarking on a personal mission to unlock the secrets of her origin.

Kenzi finds herself in a little trouble later in Season 2.
With the help of her human sidekick, Kenzi (Ksenia Solo), Bo takes on a challenge every week helping a Fae or human client who comes to her to solve a mystery, or to right a wrong. Caught in a love triangle with Dyson (Kris Holden-Ried), a sexy Fae working as a human police detective, and the beautiful human scientist, Lauren (Zoie Palmer) who works for the Fae, Bo’s love life is complicated to say the least.
Here’s a bunch more clips for Season 2, just to send your anticipation into overdrive. See you on the couch Thursday night – 9:30pm!
